Make the next test
the decisive one.
Our objective is a full-scale, instrumented program. Each component advances through engineering, performance and commercial gates.
Discuss a development partnership ↗
An existing turbine with operating history.
Host in place or compare relocation.
Not a completed HEPS installation.
Select the asset
Buy the right platform.
Measure the real difference.
A used or retiring turbine can provide a practical comparison. Condition, remaining life, modification rights, historical records and total ready-to-test cost govern the selection.
We will establish a fresh, instrumented baseline before modifications. Independent measurement must account for inflow, controls, availability and auxiliary consumption.
Internal weights and a rotating tower require distinct blade, structural and foundation acceptance. They are not assumed to fit an original turbine unchanged.
A staged program
Advance by evidence.
Release by milestone.
Define & scope
Inventory prototypes and data. Name engineering leadership. Select the host configuration and price the independent test scopes.
Establish & compare
Inspect and instrument the asset. Accept the baseline, then run controlled component comparisons.
Demonstrate & qualify
Measure net electricity, loads, reliability and installed economics. Expand to a matched cohort when the evidence supports it.
Integrate & scale
Combine accepted components. Assess coupled behavior. Build a separately funded case for the next architecture.

Email HEPS ↗Wind owners & operators
Asset access, operating history and a commercially relevant pilot.
Engineering & test teams
Independent aerodynamic, electrical and structural evidence.
OEMs & service partners
Manufacturing, qualification, installation and long-term support.
Investors & development sponsors
Milestone financing and expertise in bringing industrial technology to market.
Routes to market
One test platform.
Several ways to build.
Start with a compatible turbine family.
Expand through qualified partners.
Owner-led field pilots
Compare candidate blade fins and generator modules against a measured baseline. A successful first trial creates the basis for a paid, matched-fleet pilot.
OEM co-development
Work with blade and drivetrain specialists on manufacturing, structural acceptance and platform-specific integration. Development and licensing are distinct milestones.
Integrated demonstration
Progress weight-equipped blades and the rotating tower through their own engineering scopes. Combine accepted components in a separately funded system program.
Corporate development sponsors
Data-center and manufacturing buyers can help define demand for additional wind generation. Procurement terms and the delivery model follow measured performance.
A defined first milestone.
The full destination in view.
We are preparing a quote-based budget across testing, host access, fabrication, integration and operating runway. Conversations may focus on a component opportunity or the full-scale program.
The longer-term 100 MW+ architecture remains a research ambition. Larger-platform decisions follow their own resource, structural and economic studies.
Discuss the next development milestone →The questions
that matter.
Are HEPS retrofits available to purchase now?
The technologies are in development. HEPS is seeking engineering, test-host and financing partners for defined validation programs before repeatable commercial deployment.
Can the test turbine remain at its existing site?
Yes. Hosting in place is a preferred option where condition, access, modification rights, data and permissions support it. Relocation will be compared on total ready-to-test cost.
Will every technology fit an existing turbine?
Compatibility is assessed separately. The internal weight system needs a suitable blade structure, and whole-tower rotation needs its own support and foundation design. The first host does not imply all components can be installed unchanged.
What will success be measured against?
A fresh operating baseline, net electrical output including auxiliary loads, structural behavior, reliability, installation cost and owner economics. Historical records inform the program but do not replace controlled comparisons.
What is the 100 MW+ concept?
It is a longer-term research ambition for a larger integrated architecture. It is not a demonstrated capacity or the rating of the proposed first 500 kW–2 MW test platform.
What historical prototype testing establishes
Historical HEPS testing reported higher peak torque in a small prototype comparison. Peak torque and instantaneous speed readings do not establish sustained net electrical output. A complete energy balance must include weight actuation, auxiliary consumption, losses and structural loads.
Read the original prototype report (Google sign-in may be required), or examine the assumptions and reported readings in the illustrative comparison lab. Independent full-scale testing remains part of the development program.
